Terms & Conditions

4. Proofs and Artwork

PDF proofs and final artwork will be sent via email. Great care is taken to ensure all information is accurate. However, it is ultimately the responsibility the client, to check layout, copy, punctuation, spelling and grammar. If designs are approved with typing errors and are subsequently printed, Pine on Paper cannot take responsibility or be held liable for any resulting cost. If, in this instance, reprints are required, they will be charged for in full. It is therefore of the utmost importance that the client checks all spelling and copy thoroughly before approving any designs.

We do not process refunds or conduct reprints due to errors on approved proofs (e.g. typos), regardless of where the error originated. While we do our best to call attention to any errors we may see during the proofing process, final proofing is ultimately the responsibility of the client. Once approved, your stationery will print exactly as shown in the final proofs.

Design and proofing take time and this has been factored into the cost. Three (3) proofs are included in the design fee and thereafter proofs are charged at $30 each. We recommend that you carefully check the design and content and clearly notify Pine on Paper of any information that needs to be amended in order to save yourself extra costs. Any amendments required must be submitted via email.

5. Print, Quality and Material

Orders are subject to availability of materials. In the event of supply difficulties, Pine on Paper will inform the client immediately to discuss alternative materials or designs. For orders that are printed in separate batches or split over a time period, there is always a possibility of colour variation or print discrepancy. This is due to items being printed under different conditions. Whilst we would always endeavour to get an exact colour match, please be aware that there is a possibility that items may not be identical with respect to colour and print quality. This also applies to differences between samples and final printed items. We advise that you order a few extra invitations to avoid printing a new batch at a later date.

Please note that the colour on your screen may differ from printed colour because each screen is calibrated differently and this is particularly noticeable on phones and tablets. Please bear in mind that printers also vary and that your final stationery will be printed on the highest quality professional print method which means that colours may differ slightly. Please allow a tolerance of 5-8% colour discrepancy.

6. Cancellation

Orders cancelled prior to printing will be charged at 50% of the order value. Orders cancelled after printing will be charged in full and no refund will be provided.
